“The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 13 Those who are planted in the house of the LORD
Shall flourish in the courts of our God. 14 They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing,”
Psalm 92:12-14.
We are so excited for your interest in participating in our Life Together class about covenant membership here at Christ the Rock Fellowship! Covenant membership is for those who want a deeper relationship with the church and want to enter into a covenant relationship with CTRF.
It is our desire to see you planted in the house of God, growing in your faith in Christ and in loving relationship with the saints, flourishing in the gifts and callings that God has entrusted you with, and bearing fruit for His kingdom that will remain! Becoming a committed member in a local church is an important step in getting yourself planted in God’s house.
So, you are probably asking – what does becoming a member require? Good question! Our Life Together covenant membership process consists of the following steps:
1. Watch our Life Together videos and review the course materials on your own or with your family. There are a total of 11 videos including one introductory video and 10 videos that cover important areas of doctrine and beliefs we have as a church.
2. In-person session with pastors: Our pastoral leadership team will take time to answer any questions you have after watching the videos and reviewing the materials. We will also take time to share the vision and mission of our church, our history, our values, and our church government structure.
3. Prayer and confirmation: The next Sunday following the in-person session we will take time during our Sunday morning service to pray corporately over all of those who have participated in the Life Together classes and have decided to become covenant members here at CTRF.
